Camphasing Systems
The requirements to new engine series are increasing permanently. One way to reach the required targets in force, torque, emission and fuel consumption is a camphasing system. Hydraulik-Ring recognize this problematic at the end of the 80th and developed the first chaindriven camphaser together with Porsche. Some other models followed and Hydraulik-Ring became the leading camphaser supplier in the world.
Chain Adjustment Systems
First systems were the chain adjusted systems. With this systems it is only possible to adjust the intake camshaft by shifting the chain geometric of the control chain.

Vane Motor Camphasers
The next generation in the camphaser history was the vane motor adjustment system. With this system it is possible to adjust the intake and the exhaust camshaft and realize bigger adjustment angles. Hilite develops and supplies several different systems for various engines.
