Our precise electromagnetic actuators for differentials are used in all-wheel-drive systems and power distribution systems. They deliver high forces over long strokes to engage or disengage clutches or gears.

Enhanced traction

As a result, they can either lock the differential or separate the input shaft. A locked differential provides torque to both wheels, assisting customers when driving on challenging terrain.

Versatile drivetrain control

Separating the input shaft from the differential switches the drivetrain from all-wheel drive to two-wheel drive. Hilite actuators are used on front or rear differentials in BEV, HEV, and ICE vehicles.
