Our Flowtronic Valves
Our electrohydraulic Flowtronic® control valves act as an interface between electrical signal processing and the mechanical system process. They convert low power control signals into the high control force required for the system process.
Our Flowtronic® valves are widely used in the automotive sector for:
- Supply, control and regulation of actuators for automated manual transmissions (AMT), dual clutch transmissions (DCT), continuously variable automatic transmissions (CVT) and automatic transmissions (AT)
- Control of automated clutch actuation in hybrid drives and torque vectoring systems
- Control of variable all-wheel drive clutches and differential locks
- Control of other hydraulic auxiliary units
- Control in camphasing systems, such as our Vanecam® systems
Our Flowtronic® valves are developed specifically for our customer’s requirements on the basis of our modular valve systems. In doing so, we take into account the specifications regarding the used fluid, installation space as well as electrical, hydraulic and mechanical interfaces.
The valve functions are adapted to specific requirements with regards to inlet pressures, hysteresis, leakages and dynamic requirements such as reaction speeds and control stability.
