Hilite China Receives Two Greater Suzhou Best Employer Honors

Hilite China has received two honors at the 2026 Greater Suzhou Best Employer Awards: Greater Suzhou Best Employer and Most Promising Employer.  The recognition highlights how Hilite China supports employee development as its business evolves.
The awards ceremony took place on 23 September 2026 at the studios of Suzhou Broadcasting. Selected from more than 100 participating companies, Hilite received the Most Promising Employer honor for the first time. For Hilite, this award also speaks to the role of technological innovation in creating future opportunities for the business and its people.

James Shen, Global CEO of Hilite International, said:
“These awards affirm the direction of our people development strategy. As our business evolves, our people grow with it. At Hilite, developing talent helps us turn our engineering and manufacturing expertise, together with our understanding of customer needs, into long-term competitiveness. We are working to share HR resources and expertise more effectively across our global organization. Collaboration across regions and disciplines can bring fresh perspectives to product innovation and project delivery, while opening up broader career opportunities for our people.”

Business Growth and People Development
Investment in factory expansion, production lines, and engineering capabilities is creating new roles and opportunities to learn on the job in China. Employees can build experience in cross-disciplinary engineering, system development, digital manufacturing and international project collaboration through their work on real projects. This development sits within Hilite’s broader 2030 strategy. The company is building on its established automotive business while advancing thermal management and hydrogen solutions. It is also exploring how its valve, actuation and fluid management expertise could serve applications beyond automotive, including robotics, medical devices and industrial equipment. These emerging areas will require teams to combine existing know-how with new skills and ways of working. To support the capabilities needed by its growing business, Hilite China offers more than 100 internal courses and has developed over 30 internal trainers. The programs cover technical expertise, project collaboration and management. Over the past three years, its internal promotion rate reached 15%, while retention of employees in core positions reached 92%.

Building a Foundation for Shared Growth
Hilite China’s approach brings together three areas: compliance and culture, succession planning, and people and organizational development. Hilite’s core values of Accountability, Innovation, Integrity and Collaboration guide how teams work together and make decisions. Succession plans cover all key positions in China. Alongside measures to retain core talent, development paths for managers and technical experts help employees prepare for future roles and help the organization build the capabilities its business needs.

As Hilite China contributes to the company’s 2030 strategy, the aim remains to give people room to grow and to apply their developing skills and ideas to future innovation.
